As the meeting center was unavailable for rehabilitation, the meeting was held at the Tainturier sports hall, where thirty-six exhibitors gathered.
“We can find everything that could be a gift idea,” summarizes one of the merchants for a day. Like her, the exhibitors sell creative leisure items: lovely handmade jewelry, knitted animals, felt Christmas decorations, key rings made with recovered objects, sewing and embroidery…
A Christmas market and a toy exchange
Part of this market took the form of a toy exchange. A welcome initiative to prepare gifts to place under the tree. Between giant teddy bears and collectible dolls, the choice was vast.
The stand of the Vivons à la Victoire association, set up in the stands, presented second-hand objects for sale over the counter. “We have formed a partnership with the Tom and Co store, which will allow us to offer objects and treats for animals which we will give to the SPA,” comments Martine Frise. This was the origin of this Christmas market in 2016. She then chaired the association.
Nicole Boulanger, the president in office since 2019, has taken over the reins. “We can show what we do there,” she said. Many of us are retired and get together to do needlework or various creative activities.”
