We had to do without it. The municipality by Catillon-Fumechon experienced a long and consistent power outage on part of its territory this Sunday, January 5. The incident began in the morning, leading to varied situations. Some residents regained power after about twenty minutes, while others had to wait all day for light and to operate all their electronic devices.
From the start of the outage, Mayor Didier Dupont informed the residents of this village in Plateau Picard. The cut comes from the fall of a cable that came loose from its pole. Enedis agents, responsible for managing and maintaining the network, then undertook the repairs.
Return in the evening?
Initially, the mayor gave an initial estimate for a return to normal. Power was expected to return around 2:30 p.m. After this first deadline, the elected official then announced a complete repair around 6:30 p.m.
In the meantime, the residents of Catillon-Fumechon still had to wait a few hours.
