The winners of the 9th edition of the Racing and Breeding Staff Trophies were revealed this Saturday, November 23 during a large evening organized in the lounges of the Longchamp racecourse, in Paris. Among them: two Cantilians.
France Gallop and his partner Godolphin have once again chosen to offer seven categories. “Each one highlights the employees of the equine sector who contribute to the influence of French racing thanks to their know-how, their skills, their dedication and their qualities,” we explain to France Galop, which organizes galloping races in our country. These trophies are recognition of their commitment.”
An international trophy
Created in 2005 by Godolphin, in Great Britain, and also organized in Ireland, Australia, and the United States, this event represents a highlight for people working on a daily basis in racing and breeding in the galloping industry. And they are very numerous in the south ofOiseparticularly on thecantilian area.
This is the case, in particular, of Matthieu Pecout-Heitz, who works at Coye-la-Forêtat the Socomaf farriery. He is the big winner in the “Care Staff” category. “Passionate about the profession of farrier since his childhood, Matthieu puts his expertise at the service of racehorses, indicate the organizers of the Trophies. Thanks to his know-how, he optimizes their comfort and performance. He is also involved in transmission by training young apprentices. His commitment and rigor make him a key element in the equine industry, particularly in the demanding field of racing.”
The other Isarian winner is called Adèle Hubert. She works in the stable of Alessandro and Giuseppe Botti, based in Chantilly. She won a trophy in the “Administrative Staff” category. “Adèle is an assistant combining administrative rigor and a keen understanding of the personalities of the team of this flat horse training stable,” summarize the organizers. Loyal and independent, she manages the daily tasks of her position with precision and discretion. Respected for her dedication and involvement, which go well beyond her administrative responsibilities, she constitutes a valuable asset for the team.
With two winners out of seven, the south of the Oise confirms that it is indeed a land of horses…
