Around forty firefighters mobilized
The facts date back to the night of Saturday December 28 to Sunday December 29. An explosion completely destroyed this pavilion located at 92 rue Pasteur in Tergnier. The explosion took place at midnight and one o’clock. The regional daily mentions the testimony of local residents who heard three detonations, the third having blown up the building.
Among the rubble, a man of around 40 years old was found injured. Witnesses to the explosion carried him and moved him to the other side of the street, waiting for firefighters to arrive on site. The latter then transported him to the hospital center in Amiens (Somme), where he was taken care of. Around forty firefighters as well as a dog team were mobilized for this intervention.
