There mobilization of the farmers continues this Tuesday, November 19. They invested the TOLL of Senlis on theA1 motorway (Paris-Lille). On theA16 motorway (Beauvais-Paris), another demonstration is underway this afternoon. In both cases, the farmers decided to control there provenance of the agri-food goods on board the trucks.
Around ten farmers in Senlis
Oise farmers have just taken over the Senlis toll on the A1 motorway. Five tractors and around ten farmers are on site. For the moment, there is no blocking, only filtering. the farmers decided to intercept the trucks to check the origin of the goods they were transporting.
Around thirty farmers in Beauvais
On the outskirts of Beauvais, the A16 motorway has been in the same situation since the beginning of the afternoon. On the exit 14 toll (Beauvais Sud), around ten tractors and around thirty farmers are present. There too, they filter heavy goods vehicles and control the origin of their goods.
“If you find it doubtful, we open”
Faced with the poor success of the filtering operations, the farmers decided to separate into two groups for simultaneous filtering operations on exits 14 (Beauvais Sud) and 15 (Beauvais Nord). Around thirty trucks were checked without any agri-food products being found.
On the FDSEA 60 page, a video was published where a farmer describes the procedure to follow for the demonstrators during the checks. “We ask them for papers (from truck drivers, Editor’s note). And if you find it doubtful, we open it.”
