Véronique Roger is summoned this Friday, December 13 before the Disciplinary chamber of the Order of Physicians of the Hauts-de-France. The organization criticizes her for not being vaccinated against covid-19, her prescriptions deemed “dangerous” or her “deliberately political oppositional posture”.
When contacted, the Disciplinary Chamber of the Hauts-de-France Order of Physicians declined to comment. “We do not communicate on these files, but the hearings are public.”
Still opposed to the covid-19 vaccine
For her part, Véronique Rogez comments on this summons in a broadcast recorded for the website kairospresse.be. In this show, she talks about her experience. She recalls having been summoned before the departmental council of the Order of Physicians of Oise in 2023.
“I was a general practitioner in a small town of 15,000 inhabitants (Noyon, Editor’s note). I saw straight away that the management of the crisis (health, from 2020, Editor’s note) was a little strange. We were not allowed to provide treatment. The pharmacists told our patients, who had nevertheless made an appointment: “No, don’t go.” After this famous ban on treatment… I say to myself, we are no longer in our role at all. When the vaccination requirement arrived, I didn’t want to get vaccinated… Because I had already seen a lot of side effects in 2021 until the suspension in September. In 9 months, I had to declare 30 or 35 while I have declared one or two in my career.
Once again, she expresses her opposition to the covid-19 vaccine. But don’t tell her she’s “anti-vax” just yet. It’s a term she refutes.
She closed her office
She then explains in her televised intervention that she received in her office between July, August and September 2021 “people (…) who came to cry”, who were “in terrible distress” because of this vaccination obligation.
To this online media, the former doctor from Noyon confides having accepted his suspension. “Financially, I could. My house is paid for, my children are no longer at home, I was a few years away from retirement… (…) So, on September 15, I closed my practice, somewhat to general indifference. (…) During the first months, I received a lot of messages of support. I held on like that. (…) I closed my office.”
“I was told: ‘Your fate is sealed’”
It is in this context that she says she received a letter from the departmental council of the Order of Physicians of Oise. “Initially there was no reason for the complaint. I didn’t know why I was summoned. I took the liberty of asking. They said, “It’s for your prescriptions.” And where many in France found themselves with a fraternal meeting between two doctors to try to sort things out, I found myself in front of a plenary session with 20 masked doctors, who refused to reveal their identity. I didn’t know who I had around me. They didn’t want to say their names.”
Véronique Rogez confides that she experienced this summons “as a humiliation” in the face of accusations and unkind words. “It was horrible,” she insists. “In the end, they told me: ‘Either way, your fate is sealed’.”
The grievances of the Order of Physicians
A few months later, on January 6, 2023, Véronique Rogez learned that the departmental council of the Oise Order of Physicians had filed a complaint against her.
Still in this Kairos Presse program, Véronique Rogez highlights the grievances presented to her:
- refusal to be vaccinated
- “dangerous prescriptions”
- “deliberately political oppositional posture”
On this last point, she forgets to mention that she got involved in politics with Nicolas Dupont-Aignan within the Debout la France party, the party that she represents in the local elections, as well as in the legislative elections of June 2024 after the dissolution of the National Assembly.
Since then, Véronique Rogez has been reinstated. She continues to practice.
Supported by the Liberté Santé union
After this complaint from the departmental council of the Order of Physicians of Oise, it is therefore before the Disciplinary Chamber of First Instance of the regional council of the Order of Physicians of Hauts-de-France in Lille that Véronique Rogez will have to ‘explain.
In his summons letter, the photo of which can be found on social networks, we learn that this is mainly a written procedure. But facing the disciplinary chamber, Véronique Rogez and her counsel, Mr. Thomas Benages, will be able to make additional observations to the written conclusions already filed.
Still on social networks, the Liberté Santé union announces the upcoming hearing before the disciplinary chamber of the Hauts-de-France Order of Physicians. “Let us be numerous to show our support for Véronique Rogez,” said the union in a message on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

The union “denounces the campaigns of disciplinary harassment to which healthcare professionals who provide care and dare to speak out about the dysfunctions of our healthcare system are subject.” But Véronique Rogez would have asked her supporters not to come and gather in front of the Order of Physicians.
Support but not only…
If this publication from the Liberté Santé union led to some messages of support, other Internet users once again attacked Véronique Rogez. In the past, she had already suffered a lot of mockery on social networks for her atypical positions.
One of them comments as follows: “Given what is happening to Véro’s loved ones, I would be you, I wouldn’t go to support her too closely eh. Or put on a mask and get vaccinated…!” Another is pleased to see this disciplinary chamber meet: “Finally a sanction for Dr Mytho”.

Another Internet user is also delighted with this upcoming hearing. “Finally, the truth of the myth will be confronted with reality. It’s going to be funny to him. I hope for her sake that the baker’s cousin and the postman’s brother will be witnesses. She will therefore be able to explain the so-called patients she receives while she is suspended…”
