ACSSO, Association Coordination Santé Sud Oise, is already celebrating its twentieth anniversary. It is not uncommon to come across vehicles on the department’s roads adorned with the acronym logo reminiscent of ACSO, the Creil Sud Oise conurbation. And no, nothing to see. ACSSO’s unique subject is health. Staff travel thousands of kilometers a year to assist sick or vulnerable people at home. The sector is booming. Even in full recruitment and the curve is not going to reverse in the years to come. A good opportunity to take stock with professionals. This will be tomorrow, Friday November 29.
The choice of the conference is not trivial, since the theme arouses more and more interest among residents. “The residential shift” speaks to the greatest number of people, whether they are in the twilight of their lives or still very active.
A vice-president of the department is expected (this should be Nicole Collin), health professionals including several doctors, caregivers, and even a DGS (Philippe Dizengremel from Nogent-sur-Oise agrees to be present). The objective: to exchange, to present ideas, to plan future actions.
Committed for three decades to the coordination of care and the strengthening of home support, the ACSSO wishes, with this conference, to open a space for exchange and reflection on crucial public health issues, by bringing together leading professionals of the health, social and medico-social sector.
The key themes will be addressed with a leitmotif: that of being at the service of the territory. Several round tables will be offered and among the topics covered, listeners will be able to discover the avenues and keys to the residential shift in the South of Oise, support for caregivers, but also developments in home hospitalization (HAD) and palliative support will be at the heart of the debates.
Commitment and innovation will also be at the center of this meeting-based day. Here too, a major objective: “to work towards improving the well-being of vulnerable people and strengthening the local health network”.
This cannot be done without collaborative work with communities, health establishments and social actors. Twenty years ago, ACSSO was a pioneer in the field. Today, many structures and departments are inspired by this model which is committed to home care in the south of Oise.
The conference will begin at 9 a.m. at the Le Palace de Montataire theater on Friday, November 29 and is also open to health professionals.
