Surprised by the CollectifMarquéglise after the discovery of two potentially falsified documents in the file put together by the Métha-Oise company for its methanizer? Not in the least. “It was our research work in official documents on the prefecture website that made it possible to alert mayors to the presence of these two suspicious documents,” reveals this collective created at the end of last year. Two documents, attributed to mayors of Baugy and Marquéglise municipalities where two lagoons must be installed to store digestate (waste) from the Braisnes-sur-Aronde methanizer. These documents suggest the green light from the mayors of the two villages on these projects. Problem: the two elected officials are opposed to these lagoons, and swear to have signed nothing. “The mayor of Marquéglise displayed his amazement when we showed him the document signed by his hand, but of which he discovered everything,” reports the collective.
As if the stamps had “been reproduced”
The CollectifMarquéglise analyzed in detail the two documents annexed to the file and entitled “opinions of the mayors”. “The headers of the two letters are presented in the same way even though they are supposed to come from two different town halls and two different secretaries,” begins the collective. The stamp is also suspect: “We compared with another document stamped by the town hall: when we superimpose the two, the inking defects are exactly the same from one letter to another, as if it had been reproduced “.
However, the collective considers it “complicated to decide” on a possible false volunteer. “An investigation is open, we will let the public authorities say what is going on,” says the collective. For the rest, after having organized last month two demonstrations in front of the town hall and a march each time bringing together around 70 people, the collective continues its substantive work and in particular administrative: “We are looking in detail at all the documents, to find “other anomalies and we find errors, sometimes gross like errors of 700 meters on the place where the Marquéglise lagoon should be located,” assures the Collective. Enough to derail the project? “It is hard to imagine the public authorities being able to validate a file if it was proven that forgeries had been produced,” estimates the collective, which wants to continue “its work as whistleblowers” in 2025.
Reached by telephone, Guillaume Lartigue, presented as president of the Métha-Oise company in the registration application filed with the prefecture last year, did not answer our questions.
