As soon as the holidays were over, the population Knitting and its surroundings consulted. The inhabitants of this village in the Plateau Picard are invited to express their opinion on a photovoltaic field project planned in this municipality.
The public inquiry ordered by the Oise prefecture will be held for one month. Namely from January 6, 2025, until February 7. The investigation focuses more specifically on the building permit to be granted to the company CPV Sun 40, the project leader. People wishing to participate will be able to consult the various documents in the file at the town hall and have their observations recorded there.
12,000 modules on the lagoon
The authorities have been working on this issue for several years now. The municipal council has already given a positive opinion in 2022. This photovoltaic park project must be carried out at the place called “Le Coulant d’eau”. More precisely, along the D595, direction Courcelles-Epayelles. Where the spreading area of the Wastewater Treatment Plant is located.
This involves installing, on a plot of land of just over 3 hectares belonging to the municipality, just over 12,000 modules facing south. These must capture energy from the sun to produce electricity. Added to this is the construction of technical buildings. In total, the whole would occupy a little more than 7 hectares.
Some work to be planned
Concerning the period of work, this should extend over 6 to 8 months. The development also involves the passage of 144 heavy goods vehicles over the same period. Vehicles would inevitably have to pass via the D938 and the D535.
The planned sessions must take place on the following dates:
- Monday January 6, 2025 from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Wednesday January 15, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Saturday January 25, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Wednesday January 29, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
- Friday February 7, 2025 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
