The work on the multimodal exchange center started with the renovation of the station’s annexes. On the program: removal of the roof, insulation, sealing, restoration of the frame, catering of the skylights and repair of the slate cover. “Then the restoration of the facade and the second work will come,” said one in town hall. The first important stages of this major development project will make this district of the city a place to enhance mobility. ”
Two other actions to come
Soon, two other ACV actions will also enter their operational phase, namely the programmed operation to improve housing-urban renewal (OPAH-RU) and the “Time Travel of the first kings of France”.
“Regarding the OPAH-RU, this device plans to support private owners (occupants and donors) and condominiums in order to improve up to 400 dwellings over a period of 5 years, explains Pascale Loiseleur. This represents 5.2 million euros in funds mobilized, 70% of which are provided by the State (3.7 million). The rest is funded by the City, the CCSSO in equal parts (713,000 euros) and the Territorial Bank (25% of the cost of engineering, as an extension of the support already provided by the BDT on numerous studies of ACV projects) up to 105,000 euros.
A real public housing service
In order to guarantee the success of this operation, but also with a view to developing a real public service of housing and the sharing of structuring projects on the territory, the City will carry out renovation work this year Channel of the old guardian lodge. This place will host the OPAH-RU operator but also the Habitat one-stop shop, carried by the CCSSO. Thus, all the inhabitants of the territory will be able to benefit from adapted, reliable and concrete information according to their situation in order to improve the quality of the housing of the territory.
