After seventeen years of living together and the birth of a daughter, now aged 15, a couple who live Clermont (Oise) separates at the wife’s request. The man has difficulty digesting this separation which, he says, deprives him of his daughter, especially since the woman has returned to live with her mother with her daughter.
From July to October, Johnny Milon, 42 years oldcalled his ex-partner 2,093 timesof which 200 times in a single day in August. Avalanche of calls which led to him being prosecuted for harassment resulting in total incapacity for work for fifteen days. The woman, who has already filed five complaints with the gendarmerie, written to the public prosecutor. This resulted in a ban on contact with the victim and on appearing at her home. Ban which will be violated several times during the months of October and November. Johnny Milon is then placed in pre-trial detention and tried in immediate appearance on Wednesday November 13 at the Beauvais court.
He wants to “do something crazy against his ex-partner”
In her complaint, the ex-partner reveals that since their separation on August 13, her ex-partner has been monitoring her from his car parked in front of her home, that he follows her to her workplace, and that by means of He blocked his car, blocking his way. She says he slapped her twice. She took refuge in her car and called the police, which put him on the run. She states that one day when she wanted to sell her car and was in the presence of the buyer, he intervened and took the car radio, which scared the customer away. The couple’s daughter confirms that her father is calling to find out what her mother is doing, where she is and with whom. She claims that one day he showed her a soda in the trunk of his car and an Opinel in a door that he intended for “doing something crazy against his ex-partner and killing his ex-family“. These objects will be found by the gendarmes where the teenager said she saw them.
Johnny Milon explains to the court that he misunderstood the ban on appearing. He thought he could go near his ex-partner’s home to hand over the €20 that his daughter had asked for. The ex-partner is afraid for his life, she believes he is capable of taking action. “He is bipolarshe said, he has already been condemned, he is not afraid of anyone, he does not accept separation.»
For him, the mother manipulates their daughter
“She’s against me, I can’t even see my daughter anymoresays Johnny Milon. She took out loans that are not repaid, she no longer pays the rent or insurance, she cut me off from my daughter!» He also explains that he followed her to her workplace to collect her checkbook. He also filed a complaint for its use. “I don’t monitor her, she lies about part of the facts: I didn’t threaten her!» To which the president appends the declarations of her daughter and her friend: “why would they make this up”, she asks. “Ask his motherretorts the defendant, she gossips, she manipulates her.»
The ex-partner declares on the stand that her daughter has a telephone that she can use as she pleases and that she has never forbidden her from seeing her father. A father who became violent, mean and jealous after losing his job following an accident. Since then, he has had suicidal thoughts. What he refutes: “I’m far from it“, he said.
A criminal record with thirteen mentions
He recognizes “having been convicted a few times“. “Thirteen times since 2003», confirms the president. But since the accident in 2020, he stopped drinking and retested his license.
The lawyer for the civil party, Perrine Garcia, confirms that her client “afraid of ending up between four boards”, these are his words. She confirms that her client took out loans to support the family and replenish the private income account of the head of the family after losing his job. His client, who is still on sick leave, intends to be compensated for her damage which cannot yet be quantified.
The prosecutor takes up the charges one by one which, for him, are all justified. Like the defendant, who was convicted thirteen timesdoes not pay attention to court decisions and is in recidivismhe believes “that it’s time for him to take charge and start taking care of himself“. It requires a sentence of twenty months in prison, including six months under probation, with continued detention for the fourteen months in prison.
Prison closed for Johnny Milon
Emmanuelle Grevot defends the accused. She considers that violence without incapacity has not been established: the gendarmes who intervened and the medical examiner did not find any traces of “two good pies that she claims to have received“. According to her, death threats are not established by objective elements. They are based only on the victim’s statements. She requests her client’s release on these two points. As for what is recognized, she notes that her client’s conviction for violence dates back to 2007 and that for four years he has not been talked about: “he is on the right path, he has a permanent contract. He needs care. He must be forced to accept the separation; a probationary suspension with a ban on contact or a modified sentence would be more appropriate.»
Johnny Milon was found guilty of all charges. He was sentenced to twenty months in prison, of which eight months in prison with continued detention, and six months under probation with obligation to provide psychological and psychiatric care, to work and to compensate the victim. He is also banned from contacting the victim, from appearing at his home and from appearing in Clermont, for three years. The man is deprived of his right to vote and to possess weapons for five years. The case is adjourned on civil interest to April 23, 2025.
