Kylian Sainte-Croix is inconsolable. His dog, Lagarthaan affectionate one and a half year old staffi, died, crushed by a utility vehicle. The incident occurred this Tuesday, December 3 in the early morning, between the municipalities of Breuil-le-Sec and Nointel, near Clermont.
“It happened between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m.,” explains this young resident of Breuil-le-Sec. “We were walking on the cycle path between the two cities.” This is the path along the RD931, the old route of the RN31. “The utility vehicle swerved and struck Lagartha.”
“I couldn’t note the license plate”
The animal did not survive. Worse, “the driver did not stop and continued his journey,” says Kylian Sainte-Croix. The young man filed a complaint with the police. Unfortunately, there is a lack of information. “In the confusion, I did not have time to note the registration plate of the vehicle,” continues the master of Lagartha. “And there are no cameras at this location in Breuil-le-Sec
Also, the young man wishes to appeal for witnesses. “Several cars passed, but they did not stop,” says Kylian Sainte-Croix. The goal: to help investigators understand what happened. Or even find the driver behind the facts.
