That’s it: Creil’s real estate affairs attract the attention of the courts. It is The Letterconfidential information letter, which reveals the information. The article is entitled: “In Creil, the town hall’s real estate affairs in the sights of justice.”
The article signed by Clément Fayol and Nicolas Gastineau begins with these words: “Justice is examining real estate transactions at the town hall of Creil, one of the last socialist bastions in Hauts-de-France. Upon departure, his councilor, Jean-Claude Villemain, validated several suspicious transfer operations.
We imagine that in the days that follow, as for Jean-François Dardenne, mayor of Nogent-sur-Oise, targeted by a waste trafficking case, there and there, the police sent by the Parisian prosecutor’s office will arrive at the home of Jean-Claude Villemain, mayor of Creil, then at the town hall in a crash of flashing lights and two-tone sounds.
Mayor’s resignation accepted
He was minus one. This spectacular announcement, arriving the day after the fall of the Barnier government, comes at a time when Jean-Claude Villemain is preparing to give up his mayoral apron. The mayor announced that he was resigning at a special municipal council meeting which will take place on Saturday, December 14, at 9:30 a.m. The prefect accepted the mayor’s resignation in a letter dated December 6.
Sophie Lehner could be elected mayor on this occasion. At least that’s Jean-Claude Villemain’s intention.
It remains to be seen why the courts are interested in real estate affairs in the city of Creil. And which ones? Because the list of “suspicious operations” is long.
The Hostellerie de la Rivière
It is the case of a hotel-restaurant, bought for 900,000 euros by the town hall of Creil and resold for much less to a friend of Jean-Claude Villemain, who, in addition, left a balance of several hundred thousand euros to the city of Creil.
Oise Hebdo has already covered this affair at length, notably Là, Là et Là.
The Station Chalet
Le Châlet, a beautiful establishment located opposite the station, was sold for much less than the purchase price to a certain Mr. Diril. In addition, a terrace which was rented to the former owner was resold for a pittance to Mr. Diril.
Concerning this hotel-restaurant, we recently learned that there was another customer, more than a year ago, but that he was turned away. He didn’t want to grill it, as far as we know.
The Rose Garden
The town hall of Creil has had Oise Habitat take over buildings intended for housing, perhaps taking advantage of the fact that Jean-Claude Villemain is president of Oise Habitat.
Parisian Chic
It was Oise Habitat, the social landlord chaired by Jean-Claude Villemain, who took over these buildings from the town of Creil, whose mayor is Jean-Claude Villemain. It seems that the cost of restoring this building is very expensive.
Other real estate deals come to mind such as the Le Fleura building, sold for less than purchased, or a building located on rue Maréchal de Lattre de Tassigny which was allegedly sold to the father of one of Mr. Villemain’s running mates.
Contacted, Mr. Villemain did not react.
