23 cats and a dog found alive
“Witnesses reported having seen the two daughters of the family questioned to capture these animals wildly before bringing them back in absolutely deplorable conditions. Several cats were found in a state of extreme dilapidation after returning to their owners, following questions asked directly to the two girls. This exchange allowed the owners to find their animals, but not without terrible suffering. Other animals have been discovered in unsanitary places, deprived of care, hygiene and light, in inhuman conditions, “reports the Association Stéphane Lamart in a statement transmitted this Wednesday, February 5.
On October 25, 2022, the gendarmerie, in charge of the investigation, led a search to the home of the Gosse family. They will find “23 cats and a living dog, but under unworthy abuse conditions”, insists the association for the defense of animals.
Decaying animal corpses in boxes
Still in its press release, the association continues by indicating that “animal corpses have been found in boxes”. “These decaying bodies did not suggest anything about their exact species or age, but the horror of their discovery is undeniable. Some were perhaps puppies, other kittens, but all were innocent victims abandoned in excruciating conditions. The acts of mistreatment in question recall sadly similar precedents, in particular the facts that occurred in 2013 involving the mother who died today, ”recalls the association.
Jean-Pierre Gosse and his two daughters Aurélie and Stéphanie will be prosecuted before the Criminal Court of Soissons for these facts. The Association Stéphane Lamart announces that it will be a civil party at the hearing, with its lawyer Me Christophe Gérard.
