“My greatest joy is seeing the reaction of my clients when they see their face in the mirror.” It is for this reason thatAysha Manel27 years old in a week, launched into the makeup. She comes fromopen AM studioin rue Saint-Corneille in Compiègne. “The idea is to be able to look beautiful on a whim,” she describes about this place. Thirty minutes for makeup, thirty minutes for blow-drying.”
It’s not a hair salon, but a makeup salon and a “blow dry bar.” “I was already a makeup artist at home,” she explains. My mother had set up a room for me especially. I’ve done a lot of brides’ makeup. I had the idea of opening this studio. I did it because I feel ready. If I had opened before, I wouldn’t have done things as well. It’s a place where we disconnect.”
In this studio, Aysha Manel takes care of makeup, Hannah does hair and Audrey does body care. She is a specialist in maderotherapy, a technique for refining the body. “Everyone has their own area of expertise,” continues Aysha Manel. We can’t do everything alone.” The makeup artist performs eyelash enhancement, browlift (for eyebrows), spray tan. “I also do makeup for big events,” she says, not far from the camera of Salma, the Elle production videographer, who is filming a blow-drying session.

“Makeup gives you self-confidence”
This client is not just any client. This is Marina Przadka, Miss Picardie, who particularly stood out for her dancing talents during the Miss France election on TF1. The young lady from Villers-Saint-Paul met Aysha Manel in BTS international trade in Senlis.
Holder of a degree in international business (bac +3), Aysha Manel has been doing makeup since she was 18. “It opens the mind,” she believes. Makeup is all about self-confidence. When I was 17, I did my makeup at home. It started like that. A friend asked me if I could do her makeup. She was happy with the result. It’s this joy that I’m looking for.”
She does not consider makeup “as an essential mask, but as an asset, which gives self-confidence”. Aysha Manel adapts to customer requests. “In general, I hit the nail on the head,” she assures. Since opening, she has received flowers every day from her community on Tiktok, Instagram and Snapchat.
Despite the opening of her studio, Aysha Manel travels for groups and brides. She also offers self-makeup classes. “However, in groups, clients like to move around,” she concludes. Here, they have everything at their disposal.”
