The return of Donald Trump at the White House opens up new scenarios. If the financial market is already in turmoil, so are the war zones. In particular, the conclusion of conflict between Ukraine and Russia it could undergo a sudden acceleration as early as January, when the tycoon takes office. Until then, however, we could see an intensification of the fighting aimed at consolidating positions or trying, on both sides, to conquer as much ground as possible. While waiting, theTrump effect is already underway. This was also revealed by a recent survey carried out for Affaritaliani.it by Roberto Baldassari, general director of Lab21.01.
“Even in light of Donald Trump’s clear victory in the American elections, in your opinion, should Italy, Europe and more generally the West continue to finance Ukraine’s weapons or should they stop providing economic support for weapons?” (Affaritaliani.it)
To the question “Also in light of Donald Trump’s clear victory in the American elections, in your opinion, should Italy, Europe and more generally the West continue to finance Ukraine’s weapons or should they stop providing economic support for weapons?”, the sample of one thousand interviewees – reached both by telephone and via the web – responded as follows: 62.8% of Italians are convinced that our country, but also Europe and more generally the West, must stop supplying weapons to Kiev. Only 37.2% of respondents agree to military support for Ukraine.
“Still talking about the Russian-Ukrainian war conflict, do you consider Vladimir Putin an enemy?” (Affaritaliani.it)
And again to the question “Still talking about the Russian-Ukrainian war conflict, do you consider Vladimir Putin an enemy?“, the sample expressed itself as follows: “32.7% of those interviewed does not believe Vladimir Putin an ‘enemy’, 30.1% have an opposite opinion while 37.2% have no opinion on the matter”.
