Since his defeat in the last legislative elections, Victor Habert-Dassault had disappeared a little in the Oise. Even his conviction before the Industrial Court at the beginning of November took place in Paris. But this Wednesday evening, December 11, he organized a sort of political comeback with the local elected officials who support him. It was held in the village hall of Troissereuxnear Beauvais, which was full for the occasion.
Until now, only his close supporters had apparently had the right to his visit. Asked about the continuation of his political career at the end of October, the young ex-MP was not sure. “I have professional and personal projects but I will be ready even if there is still uncertainty regarding the deadline», he replied when asked if he would run in the next legislative elections. This time for sure, he’s coming back.

In the Facebook post which talks about his evening, Victor Habert-Dassault cleared up all doubts. “What a joy to find you again after this precious and necessary time to bounce back, he writes. I waited, maybe too long, I missed you! Last night, in Troissereux, I took a breath of love and oxygen. Thanks to you, I am determined to win back hearts and minds.»
We will now see how he will manage to get back on track since between his first election in 2020 and his third lost in 2024, his score has continued to decline. At the end of October, he blamed his defeat on poor communication and especially on the RN wave which followed the European elections. “I needed to catch my breath. It’s never very pleasant to suffer a defeat. Even more so when my commitment was total, authentic and sincere», he said at that time.
