On November 21 and 26, the gendarmes of the Senlis company (Nanteuil-le-Haudouin brigade, Crépy-en-Valois brigade and Senlis gendarmerie surveillance and intervention platoon) and the customs officers of the brigade internal surveillance of Nogent-sur-Oise organized coordinated checks on the sectors of Lagny-le-Sec, Nanteuil-le-Haudouin and Vauciennes.
Their objective was to control utility vehicles and heavy goods vehicles, whose heavy traffic generates risks of accidents, violations of the Highway Code and transport of illicit goods.
It is in this context that customs officers got their hands on a shipment of 90 kg of illegal tobacco.
