In the editorial of the newsletter of the Federation of Aisne FishermenTHE president Pierre Bourgeois announces that “the sale of the Pinon building has been completed since November 29, 2024 and the interior design of the Aulnois-sous-Laon building is almost complete. All that remains is the surroundings to be carried out.
In addition, “the labeling of the Canivet water body in Soissons, for black bass fishing, has been carried out since the fall. Other projects will be carried out depending mainly on our finances and the time to spend on these files.
The president hopes for more favorable weather in 2025 “for fishing, the reappearance of regulatory shooting for cormorants, less damage to aquatic environments”.
The federation hopes to acquire or rent “a body of water in the north and one in the south of the department in order to complete the existing one and cover the entire department”. And allow all fishing license holders to be able to satisfy their desire to fish other than in a river and close to their home without having to make long journeys by car.
Reciprocity
Reciprocity is the possibility for a fisherman holding a fishing license from an approved Association for Fishing and Protection of Aquatic Environments (AAPPMA) to fish, without having to pay for a new license, on the fishing route. another AAPPMA.
Good news has come for Axon fishermen. The AAPPMA “La Saumonée Vilpionnaise” of Saint-Gobert joins departmental and interdepartmental reciprocity this year. It manages 1st category fishing lots, where salmonids are predominant. That is to say trout or, more rarely, if ever, salmon, on the Vilpion and downstream of the Beaurepaire stream.
But the AAPPMA of Tergnier remains non-reciprocity in 2025 due to the non-reintegration of the Quessy pond into reciprocity. The consequence is important. The Quessy (and Lins) ponds are therefore no longer accessible to fishermen outside this AAPPMA. On the other hand, fishing lots in the public river domain (Saint-Quentin canal, Oise river, etc.) remain accessible to one line, to all fishermen with a fishing license.
En’Barque
Baptiste, founder of the young French start-up “En’Barque, is launching the first platform dedicated to the rental of boats between individuals and/or professionals in fresh water. For boat owners or rental companies, all information is available on the site https://enbarque.fr/
The success of such a project lies in the creation of a community of fishermen renting out their boats. The Aisne department offers many possibilities. Both on rivers, with the Aisne or the Marne for example, and on bodies of water with Lac de l’Ailette for boats or federal ponds for float tubes.
Thermal monitoring
The technical service of the Federation has finalized the installation of thermal probes which are part of the monitoring network set up in the department.
Renewal of accreditation with National Education
The Aisne Federation for Fishing and Protection of the Aquatic Environment has renewed its request for approval for complementary educational associations in public education from the Ministry of National Education.
Accepted, it was the subject of an order from the rector of the Academy of Amiens dated 10/17/24. This approval thus recognizes the skills and legitimacy of the federation to intervene in the educational context. These interventions are part of the environmental and sustainable development education program developed by the Federation and available at the link https://www.peche02.fr/3833-animations-scolaires.htm
