The Sports Union Nanteuil soccer club (US Nanteuil-le-Haudouin FC) obtained at the start of the 2024/2025 season from the French Football Federation (FFC) a bronze label for the women’s football school.
“This award remains the fruit of a decision to make sport a mixed sport, without distinction of sex, as we have already been doing for years without distinction of nationality, race, religion and any other criterion of distinction,” explains Stéphane Xuerefthe president of US Nanteuil-le-Haudouin FC. For three seasons, the Nanteuil club has wanted to offer female licensees the development of the sport among themselves, whereas this practice remained mixed until now. The work and the means put in place have borne fruit and, today, the club is made up of 66 female licensees, including our youngest, our teenagers, our female seniors and leaders, i.e. more than 20% of the total number. of licensees.”
Small demonstrations
The presentation of the label was accompanied by a small football demonstration by the club’s young people, under the responsibility of their leaders, and by the senior women. Then came the time for the essential speeches…
“Work, rigor, will, determination and high standards are valued,” says someone close to the president. This is the first magnificent stage of a wonderful human and sporting project. Thank you to the president for bringing so much to this club. Thank you to all those who follow him and work with him in these somewhat crazy projects… Coaches, players, volunteers, managers, families, friends, partners… Thank you all for believing in it and participating in it ! Much more than a club, it is a family for the pleasure and development of all USNFC players! We continue, we don’t give up!”
More than a reward
“Congratulations again for obtaining this label, reward for all the work accomplished over the past two or three years now,” adds a member of the youth football educational commission of the Oise football district.”
The coveted label was presented to the club by the president of the Oise district, Nathalie Depauw, and her teams.
“More than a reward and a distinction, this label confirms our desire to do and do women’s football well with a capital F,” concludes Stéphane Xueref. Thank you to all my educators and coaches… Thank you to all my players, my managers and the parents who give us their trust…. This club is growing, season after season. There are still many goals, but together, we will climb these steps to success!”
