The death threats against Renaud Bourgeois (certain posts on social networks promised him, for example, “the guillotine”, photos of the elected official were shared, accompanied by sometimes virulent comments), were taken very seriously. . According to our information, the situation of the elected official has been reported to the prefect. Renaud Bourgeois was, according to our information, immediately placed under police protection.
Renaud Bourgeois no longer wishes to speak directly on this matter after the violent attacks to which he was subjected.
