It’s no secret. L’Jockeys Hospitalhas Chantillyhas been in great difficulty, particularly financially, for several months, even several years. A liquidation pure and simple establishment is even theoretically possible. Even if no one dares to consider it today… However, resistance is being organized in the face of this possible liquidation. This is how the Community of communes of the Cantilienne Area (CCAC) spares no effort to save the establishment. The deputy Eric Woerth recently recalled: “With François Deshayesthe president of the CCAC, we spend a lot of time on this file.
But other elected officials and personalities are also working for the “rescue” of the Jockeys hospital, actually located in the territory of Gouvieux. This is how an association for the defense of the establishment has just been created. On the initiative, among others, of Manoëlle Martinvice-president of the Regional Council of Hauts-de-France and also elected from Gouvieux, the ADéMaDH’s primary goal is to defend the establishment.
Support the establishment of Gouvieux
“The association for the defense, maintenance and development of the Jockeys – Chantilly hospital (AdéMaDH) aims to support the Gouvieux establishment,” explains Manoëlle Martin. The objective of this association is first of all to promote the work carried out by this hospital, by its staff and its administrators. But it is also about supporting the provision of care, more broadly, in the CCAC territory while respecting the interests and needs of the population.”
For those who are at the origin of this association, the Jockeys Hospital would, wrongly, be presented in a negative way, “particularly because of the difficulties it has encountered for too long”. These difficulties also led in 2013 to a ten-year continuation plan validated by the High Court (TGI) following a judicial recovery. But despite a clear recovery, a return to balance has still not been achieved.
A communication effort
“This is one of the reasons why the association will communicate as widely as possible with the population of the territory, to make as many people as possible aware of all the information necessary for the development of the healthcare offer in the south of Oise. », specifies Manoëlle Martin.
The Jockeys Hospital today offers more than thirty different medical and surgical specialties. For this, it relies on some 80 practitioners. It has 135 beds and an operating theater made up of 6 rooms. In Gouvieux, patients have access to conventional digital radiology equipment, scanners and MRIs, installed on the premises. Premises that the CCAC could soon acquire.
Indeed, François Deshayes and his team imagined the following financial arrangement: the CCAC borrows 10 million euros and puts in 1.5 million euros of equity, Gouvieux, Chantilly And Lamorlaye bring 2.1 million euros and, finally, the eight other municipalities of the CCAC put 400,000 euros on the table. The CCAC buys the buildings and rents them to the Jockeys Medical-Surgical Center (CMCJ) which, for its part, can pay off its debts.
A complicated file
“We are working on this file in conjunction with the prefecture,” François Deshayes recently clarified. But be careful, to embark on this buyout, we need to obtain certainty that the CMCJ will be able to pay us its rent in the long term.
However, it remains to obtain the approval of the prefecture, the banks, the court and the regional health agency (ARS). The CCAC now knows that it can count on the support of the newly created association. An association which appeals to residents, health professionals and elected officials: “Join us!”
