It has been several years since the municipality of Chambly (Oise) had not organized Christmas market. This weekend of Saturday December 21 and Sunday December 22 was to mark this return. Inaugurated on Friday evening, the Christmas market that counted around fifteen exhibitors on Place Charles-de-Gaulle will ultimately only be open Friday evening and Saturday.
Because during the night from Saturday to Sunday, several barnums flew away following a strong gust of wind. As a reminder, the Oise was placed on yellow alert for winds and storms this Sunday, December 22. Fortunately, the gust of wind occurred at night and caused no injuries.
The ice rink open until January 5
Also installed on Place Charles-de-Gaulle since this Friday, December 20, the ice rink is accessible every day until Sunday January 5, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. It will be closed on Wednesday December 25 and January 1.
