Significant traffic difficulties were observed this Monday, December 16 on theA1 motorway in the Lille-Paris direction. A car and a truck collided Beuvraignes (Sum) on the border with the department ofOise. According to Picardy Mailthe Audi involved in theaccident indulged in a go-fast. Its occupants took the leak after the accident.
The Audi was followed by the police
According to the first elements of the investigation, mentioned in the columns of Picard mailthe accident would have involved an Audi and a heavy goods vehicle. The Audi was followed by a vehicle from the Lille research brigade at the time of the incident. The occupants of the vehicle were suspected by the police of engaging in a go-fast, transporting drugs at high speed.
The Audi hit a heavy goods vehicle, which then jackknifed, blocking traffic on the two left lanes. Traffic on the A1 was then limited to the right lane.
One individual arrested, two others sought
There were three people on board the Audi. They all fled. Only one of these three individuals was arrested mid-morning on Monday, December 16. The other two are still actively sought. A police helicopter was mobilized to find them.
The police got their hands on narcotics, however the quantities seized were not revealed.
