The arrival of a fitness park in the village
During his speech, Richard Kubitz provides a detailed assessment of the projects carried out in 2024. Among the achievements, he mentions:
- the replacement of the air conditioning in the multifunction room,
- the installation of a fitness park, the planting of trees at the school and around the pond,
- the purchase of a brand new tractor with tipper to improve the technical equipment.

And the mayor said: “We had garbage collectors and postal workers who got lost.” This action is part of the revision of the Local Urban Planning Plan (PLU).
Richard Kubitz welcomes the takeover of the local grocery store by Amélie Correia, hoping that this initiative will meet the expectations of residents.
“I want the village to be completely cleaned up before my departure”
Despite a constrained budgetary context, projects are already planned for the coming year:
- for technical services, compliance and installation of fire hydrants;
- for municipal services, replacement of the technical truck;
- for the health of these residents, the installation of a defibrillator on rue des Jews.
The mayor has made improving the sanitation network between the pond and the ex-RN2 (the Paris-Soissons axis) his priority for the year 2025.
The president of the com’ de com’ welcomes his commitment
During his speech, Richard Kubitz expressed his exhaustion in the face of numerous administrative and regulatory constraints, as well as the lack of state support for rural communities. So many reasons which will push him to step down at the end of his mandate. “I have been involved in Péroy-les-Gombries for 25 years. Councilor in 2001, first deputy in 2008, mayor since 2011… It is time for me to hand over the baton.”
His first assistant did not fail to pay tribute to him with words full of camaraderie: “It’s the season for hugs, so I’ll give you one.” Didier Doucet, president of the community of the commune, also praised his work: “Thank you for your activity and your dedication. You have always been a source of suggestions.”
