The Council of Ministers, according to what we learn, approved the law decree for the “reopening of the terms for joining the Biennial preventive agreement“. VAT numbers will have time until December 12th to join the two-year pact with the tax authorities.
Furthermore, the Council of Ministers has also given the green light to the appointment of Salvatore Luongo as general commander of the Carabinieri. Luongo, already deputy general commander of the Army, will take over from Teo Luzi.

The vice president of the Chamber and deputy of Forza Italia, Giorgio Mulèhe said: “The appointment of General Salvatore Luongo as General Commander of the Carabinieri is the certainty for Italians that the Meritorious will be able continue to count on an authoritative and safe guide in the wake of its great tradition. With General Luongo I am sure that the Army will be able to face the challenges of a complicated time: his vision, experience and firm anchoring to the values of the Constitution will accompany him on this journey alongside all the Carabinieri of Italy“.

This was declared by the president of the senators of Forza Italia, Maurizio Gasparri.
