Several municipalities have seen land on their Christmas market investigators from state services. Exhibitors were exposed to controls unexpected. Several of them received a warning.
The DGCCRF mobilized
The services of the General Directorate for Competition, Consumer Affairs and Fraud Control (DGCCRF) and the Departmental Directorate for Personal Protection (DDPP) carried out checks on the Christmas markets of several municipalities in the Oise at the end of the year.
19 warnings
Of the 33 exhibitors inspected, 19 received a warning “essentially for reminders of the consumer’s information obligations in terms of safety and price”, specifies the Oise prefecture on his social networks.
State services took the opportunity to recall the existence of the SignalConso service to report a dispute in order to find a solution. The platform also provides information on consumer rights.
