Michel Lebrun has just released a new clip under the nickname “Tonton Chelmi”: a parody of “Tonton du bled”, the hit by the hip-hop group 113, released in 1999. Renamed “Subventions du bled”, the piece scratches more than ever the mayor Sandrine Dauchelle and her deputies, guilty of having, due to poor financial management, had to make savings at the expense of the clubs.
After the already classic cover by Claude François “Lâche la moula”, the immortal parody by Francis Cabrel (“Noyon is going to die”) Michel Lebrun takes a detour through rap, a playground already explored in the famous “Sandrine gives us back the money” (yes, we do a music review if we want, Editor’s note).
Musical parody is in fact the hyper-viral means experimented by the technical director of the largest Noyonnaise association to announce each event. Already three demonstrations since this summer (the association festival, the October municipal council and the upcoming one on Saturday) and many more hits. Only audience ratings on social networks and punchlines which will be chanted on Saturday during the parade from Place Saint-Jacques to the Chevalet square where the mayor will give a – much criticized – greeting ceremony.

The people of Noyon who are already expected to be numerous for this first 2025 parade therefore have only a few hours to learn the words of “Subventions du bled”. The criticism is once again fierce. We selected a verse addressed to the deputies: “There’s no more sorrel, no more money to spend, don’t worry about everyone, there are some who won’t stop eating, they continue to receive their compensation , to bail themselves out they know how to sell our real estate.
In Saturday’s procession, we should of course also hear the no less famous “Dauchelle synchro (“La Dodo, la Chauchelle, la Dauchelle, Chelle!”). But also “Let me dream”, a cover of Dalida, or “My name is Didier”, a “tribute” to the first deputy Didier Payen to a tune by Balavoine.
