From December 4 to 21, 2024, the Community of Communes Flandre Lys (CCFL) is offering several free events around the theme of Christmas, organized by its network of L’Esperluette media libraries. Here is the schedule of events.
On Wednesday, December 4, 2024, a floral decoration workshop for the creation of a Christmas table centerpiece will be held at the Estaires library at 10:30 a.m. Reservations can be made on 03 28 42 95 65. At 2:30 p.m. , a second workshop will take place at the Sailly-sur-la-Lys library. Registrations can be made on 03 21 27 64 05 or by email at biblio@sailly.info.
On Saturday December 14, 2024, the puppet show “The reindeer Alphonse and the mocking elf” will be offered at 3 p.m. at the Laventie media library. To reserve, contact 03 21 26 12 77 or by email at mediatheque@laventie.fr.
On Wednesday December 18, 2024, two puppet shows will be scheduled. At 10 a.m., the “Merry, Santa’s Daughter” show will take place at the Fleurbaix library (reservations at 03 21 65 86 72). At 3 p.m., the same show will be presented at the La Gorgue media library. Reservations can be made on 03 28 40 81 93.
Finally, on Saturday December 21, 2024, the show “The Book of Dreams” will be given at 10 a.m. at the Haverskerque media library. Reservations can be made on 06 07 65 78 66 or by email at medialys@haverskerque.fr. At 3 p.m., another show will take place at the Merville media library. Reservations can be made on 03 28 48 95 10.
These events are an opportunity to participate in creative and cultural activities for the whole family in a festive atmosphere.
The CCFL, created in December 1992, brings together eight municipalities located in the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais. These municipalities are Estaires, Merville, Haverskerque and La Gorgue for the North, and Fleurbaix, Lestrem, Laventie and Sailly-sur-la-Lys for Pas-de-Calais. This territory of 39,469 inhabitants extends over 13,000 hectares and organizes various events to energize local life.
