Eight races were scheduled for this Thursday, November 21 at the Condé racecourse, at Chantilly. But the falls of snow led to the cancellation of the last six races, out of eight, planned in the city of horses.
It was France Galop who made the decision to cancel the end of this meeting. However, the first race, at 12:17 p.m., and the second, at 12:52 p.m., took place normally. But the snowfall made the fiber-sand track difficult to pass. In addition, the visibility left something to be desired… The professionals, on the race field, found nothing wrong with the decision to France Gallop.
Postponed to a later date?
The six races which could not be run this Thursday will probably be postponed to a later date. In Chantilly? At this time no decision has yet been taken regarding this point. On the other hand, it seems that the eight races which were to be run this Friday, November 22 in Saint-Cloud, in Hauts-de-Seine, will finally be rescheduled for… Chantilly!
The roads are snowy
Note that some professionals will undoubtedly have to stay on site this late afternoon due to snow-covered roads in places and a weather forecast that does not bode well for the hours that follow.
Finally, if the gallopers from Chantilly had to return to their boxes this Thursday afternoon, the trotters from Vincennes continue to put on the show. For now…
