Sergeant Clément Bally died this Tuesday, January 7 while he was on his way to the barracks of Chapelle-en-Serval where he worked as volunteer firefighter. He was traveling on a motorized two-wheeler… But the circumstances of theaccident still remain quite vague. We talk about the fall of a tree, across the road, on the side of Luzarchesin the Val d’Oise. A truck wanted to avoid this tree, leading to the accident which cost the life of the young firefighter.
This Tuesday, he went to the Chapelle-en-Serval rescue center to take care of him. A professional firefighter at the SDIS (departmental fire and rescue service) of Val-d’Oise, Clément Bally was very popular with his colleagues.
A great emotion
This Tuesday, the firefighters of La Chapelle-en-Serval gathered to pay tribute to him. Eric de Valroger, chairman of the board of directors of SDIS de l’Oise, was present. “The emotion was palpable,” he confides. And everyone had a thought for his family.”
Clément Bally was in a civil partnership and father of a little girl born on December 25. The firefighters and all those who knew him think very highly of them. “Our deepest thoughts are with his family, loved ones and colleagues at this painful moment,” said the side of the SDIS of Oise. “A professional firefighter at the SDIS of Val-d’Oise, he embodied the values of courage and dedication specific to our commitment,” emphasize the firefighters.
