I promise I swear. “We are not going back on what was decided last year,” explains Olivier Ferreira, during the previous community council on January 20. The president of the Vallée Dorée community of communes continues: “we want to reactivate the Marais ZAC», located in Mogneville, not far from Chédeville Park.
There is no question of resurrecting the old zone project with a logistics company. This has sufficiently fractured the intercommunal body. With effects that are still being felt today. For the moment, it is mainly a matter of waiting for the results of commissioned studies to see what can be achieved. And there are already leads.
A tourism project, now
The first: develop activities around the park managed by the community of municipalities. “We are re-discussing the studies to create a tourism project,” indicates vice-president Roger Menn. And also a little economical. The hypothesis of a photovoltaic field is put forward.
In any case, everyone seems to be on one line: “don’t repeat what was done a year ago.” And avoid operations that would cause “too much nuisance and not enough guarantees.”
And the access ramp?
“We have never been against the ZAC in this location,” recalls Christophe Dietrich, mayor of Laigneville. “We were against choosing a logistics activity. Now there remains one question, that of the half-access ramp.”
The old project provided for the construction of a ramp from the D1016, in the Creil / Clermont direction, to access the area.
This part could finally see the light of day. “I am convinced that (traffic) flows have changed,” said Olivier Ferreira. However, the manager is awaiting the results of studies specific to this question to make a definitive decision.
As for Monchy…
A point that does not seem to please Virginie Garnier. The mayor of Cauffry has repeatedly warned of the risks of nuisance from increased traffic in her town, but also those of Rantigny and Liancourt. She also cites the accidents which have recently multiplied on the D1016.
As for the elected officials of Monchy-Saint-Eloi, including the mayor Alain Boucher, supporter of the old project, they continue to display their bad mood. This, by abstaining on all points on the agenda. Or by playing the internal rules card. Thus the community of communes had to renew its presence in various bodies and elect representatives.
