Rain and snowfall caused flooding yesterday Wednesday January 8 in Noyon. Water has flooded the roadway, making it difficult for vehicles to pass through, particularly Chemin du Châtelain in the L’Isle-Adam district towards the town of Genvry.
Municipal councilor Fatih Cakiroglou notably posted a video of his drive on the road flooded with muddy water.
“I was passing through there,” explains the former road delegate, “and unfortunately, it is an area that experiences disruptions every time it rains. I have in mind the example of a resident who had to build a wall to block the water, a measure which only partially worked,” he reports. Yesterday, “the road and sidewalks were submerged under water, in an area which, what’s more, has a bus stop”, which implies a sidewalk “raised compared to normal”, explains the municipal councilor.
The problem of this district, in terms of roads, according to the former member of the majority, “is that it is, a bit like the Tarlefesse district which also experienced problems yesterday, I was told reported, abandoned. Both on the issues of flooding, as well as those of speed where, in L’Isle-Adam, promises were made, but where nothing saw the light of day.
We were unable to contact the mayor’s office.
