New year and new events. THE farmers of the Oise go again manifest This Monday January 6. From 10:30 a.m., they will be in front of the Beauvais prefecture. The call for mobilization was launched by the Departmental Federation of Farmers’ Unions (FDSEA) of Oise.
Against a regional program of the nitrate directive
This time, farmers will mobilize against regional action program (PAR) 7 following the implementation of the nitrate directive. According to the State, this directive aims to reduce water pollution caused or induced by nitrates of agricultural origin.
A national action program was first put in place before certain measures were reinforced via a regional action program. Specific actions in reinforced action zones (ZAR), corresponding to areas around drinking water catchments, are notably included.
On January 6, farmers in Oise will demonstrate against this PAR 7.
