This is the big announcement for Alain Randon. It must be said that the mayor d’Etouy worked to make this project a reality. Namely the creation of a collective sanitation network in the commune.
“Our entire village of Etouy wanted it,” rejoices the first magistrate, during the wish ceremony organized on Saturday January 11. “He’s wanted this for decades. This year 2025 will see the start of this work which will take place in three phases.”
On the program:
The operation is expected to last three years. This one will include, lists Alain Randon:
– The construction of collective sanitation
– Complete renovation of the drinking water network
– Strengthening fire safety
– Complete renovation of rainwater management.
The amount of this investment is estimated at 10 million euros.
A project that almost collapsed
“A specific meeting will be organized soon,” informs Alain Randon. “I will return on this occasion to the multiple advantages of these investments. There will follow a time to give everyone the results of the field studies that were carried out in each of the houses.”
Alain Randon recalls that this program almost did not see the light of day. Or at least not for several years. This is due to the tight deadline for obtaining various grants. He was nevertheless able to benefit from the solidarity of the community of communes of Pays du Clermontois. This one supervises the construction site. “The services took up the challenge and postponed other works to absorb this load.”
A new business within 4 years?
Another project mentioned by the mayor of Etouy: the resurrection of the bar. The municipality requested the Oise Public Land Establishment to purchase the building and keep it for 5 years.
“We will use this time to finalize the renovation project,” specifies Alain Randon. “We want to restart the bar or a similar activity. This project will see the light of day within 4 years.”
