They were not spared during the last demonstration organized in front of the ceremony of the wishes of Oise Habitat in Gouvieux on Thursday, January 23. Jean-Claude Villemain and Benjamin André had said that they would respond by point to the demands of employees. This is what they did at the headquarters of the social landlord historically located on the heights of Creil
“At first, we can only evoke our surprise to have had a strike movement at this precise moment. That there is a desire to make the buzz, it is blatant, especially since I do not think that there was on our part a desire to break the social dialogue, ”explains the president of Oise from the outset Habitat, Jean-Claude Villemain.
President and Director evoke a two -hour strike notice the day before the vows ceremony.
In the aftermath of the demonstration which brought together, according to management, 60 employees and according to the unions, 120 demonstrators, at the headquarters of the social landlord, we therefore wanted to react “not to let anything and anything say”.
It is true that many points were mentioned during this meeting on the forecourt of the Gouvieux village hall (see above)
Scratched first, Benjamin André says: “To be shocked by such behavior”.
The director specifies that he has always worked in the field of social housing, that it is a choice, and that he did not imagine arouse so much opposition. “I hear that it was said that part of the staff would prefer to work with the former director. I want to listen to it, but you have to do with a new direction. I affirm wanting to work with modern means, it is the sine qua non condition to allow Oise Habitat to survive independently ”.
So yes, the implementation of new software, digitization, including orders, and orders placed, Benjamin André fully assumes it. “You have to live with your time and allow the lessor that we are to stick to economic reality”. At the same time, he rejects any overload of work mentioned by union organizations.
The time for the president as well as for the director, practically nothing has changed for employees. A modification is mentioned in the principle of leave requests. “There is nothing. We simply ask to be able to establish a provisional schedule. This seems the minimum for us since it is a question of ensuring a minimum service, in particular concerning the presence of guards or administrative services ”.
Regarding annual negotiations, there too, the director says he does not understand the claims. “Right now, these negotiations are taking place. It is the HRD that leads them, but it is true, I wish to be present, ”says the director.
“I wonder. I think that this event is wanted and perhaps even caused by an elected official who wishes to have more hands on the social landlord that we are. I am not fooled. I remind you to give total confidence to Benjamin André. We mentioned during the vows the future of Oise Habitat. The current situation undertakes to draw from the reserves to create new housing. We can do it but must in the future rely on new partners. It’s up to us not to let anything do, not let any private partner enter our structure. Today that’s what matters to me, but it cannot be done without a social dialogue. A next CSE meeting should put many subjects flat, ”concludes Jean-Claude Villemain.
At the same time, the social landlord aims for a national certification, a must for the future of the structure.
“This cannot claim to be without the commitment of staff and therefore trade union organizations. We hope to be able to work in good conditions, and this no later than this week when we have a planned CSE meeting, ”concludes Benjamin André.
Suffice to say that the meeting may be animated.
