THE gendarmes fromOise proceeded to a new operation of Road controls in the Compiegnois This Tuesday, February 18. On their social networksthe soldiers announced that they have checked a hundred vehicles and raised 12 offenses.
Three targeted axes
“For safer roads and a reinforced fight against delinquency, the gendarmes of the Compiègne company carried out several road checks this Tuesday, February 18, 2025, on the main axes of the borough,” write the gendarmes on Facebook.
These new control operations took place:
- At the crossroads between the N31 (Compiègne-Beauvais axis) and D1017 (Axis Conchy-les-Pots / Senlis) in Moyvillers
- D935 (Compiègne / Ressons-sur-Matz axis) in Monchy-Humières
- D932 and D934, connecting Noyon to Guiscard and Cuts
22 gendarmes mobilized
Some 22 gendarmes were mobilized to control around a hundred vehicles. They noted 12 offenses.
These checks occur when it was a eighth person died on the roads of Oise on the evening of Wednesday, February 19. On the D1032 (Compiègne-Noyon), an elderly woman, on foot, was fatally reversed by a car.
“These operations are not limited to road safety: they also help to dissuade burglars from acting. Your security is our priority, ”conclude gendarmes in their publication.
