Compiègne. Here is the future hotel with Rooftop Place de la Gare

A Petit Margny public meeting, district of Compiègnetook place in the town hall of Margny-lès-Compiègne. L’three -star hotelwhich will be built to the right of the station (when you have it in front of you), will include 104 rooms, two restaurants (including one in rooftop) a sports hall and 72 parking spaces. This is very short term, since the work will start in 2025, for delivery in spring 2027.

In addition to the 350 future housing, the redevelopment of the banks of the Oise (13,000m² From long walks of the Oise), the enlargement of the hopper (tunnel under the railway), there was talk of the launch of the Picardie-Roissy rail link, which will be in place in 2028.

• Transformation of the station’s forecourt into a zone dedicated to soft mobility (pedestrians and cyclists). The central space, oriented towards the Oise, will benefit from new urban furniture and planting of trees, perennials and grasses. On the Margny-lès-Compiègne side, a second forecourt will offer the same assets.
• Passage in double sense of the Quai de la République

2026: Delivery of the multimodal and southern multimodal exchange center

A multimedia exchange center is a space where various modes of transport are connected: walking, cycling, public transport and car. It facilitates the transition from one means of transport to another, with fluid and secure correspondence.

• Extended access to the underground passage connecting Margny to Compiègne
• Creation of bus quay rue de la Gare
• Route reserved for buses along the square
• Transformation of the station’s forecourt into a zone dedicated to soft mobility
• New forecourt on the Margny-lès-Compiègne side
• Minute removal zones for each mode of transport
• New cycle paths better developed. Summer 2025: Concretization of the cycle connection project on the SNCF bridge in rue de Noyon (bidirectional cycle path between the Gilarães and Jhat roundabouts).
• 2 car parks of 200 and 400 spaces by 2030
• Vegetalization of the place of the 54th infantry regiment (Place de la Statue Jeanne d’Arc).
