He called him back. For Mayor Jean-Philippe Vichardthe construction of the Olympe-de-Gouge school and the reunion of the schools from Breuil-le-Vert are among the main achievements of the municipality. During the year 2024, the last stage was completed: the transfer of theCannettecourt school within the new structure.
It now remains to determine the future of the vacated buildings. The elected official addressed the issue during the traditional greeting ceremony on Friday, December 20. And the answer is obvious: part of the whole must become, in the long term, new housing.
A lot already sold for 150,000 euros
“After obtaining the agreement of the authorities, the premises lost their status as public buildings,” explains Jean-Philippe Vichard. “We have carried out land divisions. They made it possible to create four batches.
The first of these lots has already been sold. “Last week, for 150,000 euros,” specifies the mayor of Breuil-le-Vert. This part must eventually become homes. For another lot, the municipality must appoint a social landlord. The project seems, for the moment, embryonic.
We guard the polling station
A third lot concerns the former technical services of the city. Their sale must take place during the year 2025. Concerning the last lot, the municipality intends to keep it. This is a premises for which the town hall quickly found a destination.
“It served as a polling station for the European elections,” explains Jean-Philippe Vichard. “It was only supposed to be an experiment.” Experience confirmed and renewed with the impromptu organization of the Legislative Elections in 2024…
As for other projects
Among the other projects concerning 2025, it will mainly be a question of preparing them. Thus, “I have requested a one-year report on the work planned in rue de Béthencourtel,” announced the mayor of Breuil-le-Vert. These will ultimately take place between 2026 and 2027.
Another project outlined by Jean-Philippe Vichard: the construction of a hall, near the Grand Air park. An operation estimated at one million euros. But again, this should not become a reality for several months.
