A news community radio is about to see the light of day Beauvais. During an inaugural evening organized at the Les Vedettettes bar this Friday, November 22, Brok radio will be officially launched. While waiting for the fateful date, the four co-founders Solem, Dj 5hop, Masta Ben and Médérine are already at work. In fact, they’ve been preparing the launch of their radio station for a while.
Promote hip hop culture
“Brok radio takes over the roots of Brokenterz», explains Loïc Blevennec aka Solem. Brokenterz is the association that they launched in 2012. And which already had the idea of “develop hip hop culture in all disciplines», recalls Loïc. With Brock radio, music in particular will be highlighted.
From Monday to Sunday, 15 presenters will present 9 shows in very distinct styles. French rap from all generations including reggae, ragga dancehall, funk, RnB… “We want to bring these musicalities to life», summarizes Loïc. Thanks to the broadcast of the songs of course, but also interviews, prestigious guests…
A treasure hunt in Beauvais
All the radio news can be followed on its website brokradio.com and on the social networks Facebook and Instagram. The kick-off of the site and the radio will therefore be this Friday evening at Les Vedettettes. For the occasion, a double concert is scheduled from 6 p.m. to midnight. First with Clair&Précis (rap) then Puppasonic (reggae).
Of the “bonuses» will be up for grabs. For this, a treasure hunt is launched in Beauvais. You have to find the three cans of black, gold and silver paint, hidden in the prefecture town, then bring them to the inaugural evening. They represent the radio mantra “Culture, sharing, transmission”.
