Arrival planned for April. 4 housing units and a new business will be available in the municipality of Bailleval. Mayor Olivier Ferreira recalled this during the greeting ceremony organized on Saturday January 11.
This is the project located on rue des Prothais. It includes four collective rental housing units. Added to this, on the ground floor, is a 100 m2 commercial cell. This should accommodate a bakery. The operation also includes parking, with the installation of two electric charging stations. Amount of the operation: 792,000 euros, including 341,000 euros borne solely by the municipality.
A new water network for the hamlet of Cagneux
Another major project for this small town in Liancourtois: work in the hamlet of Cagneux. “Not an easy operation, because we did it wrong at the beginning,” recognizes Olivier Ferreira. “There will be no more problems with cut roads.”
The investment of just over 900,000 euros consists of rehabilitation work on the wastewater and rainwater network. Then, a requalification of the roads, with the creation of water management works. By subtracting the subsidies, Bailleval will have to pay 262,000 euros. End of work estimated for this summer.
A sweet connection
Third program currently being finished: the soft connection which goes from the town center to Béthencourt. With, in addition, the installation of sports equipment. Its cost is 252,000 euros.
Added to this is the rehabilitation of the old caretaker’s house in the Domaine Alain-Lecocq. This must then be rented out.
Wetlands also on the program
Still among the projects in progress, Olivier Ferreira also mentions the rehabilitation of wetlands, by the community of communes of the Vallée Dorée. “This will allow us to correct an aberration,” admits Olivier Ferreira. In particular at a specific location, “where in the past, municipal services deposited their waste.”
Finally, the mayor mentioned the upcoming elections. The elected official announced that he would run again for 2026.
