The operation dates back to January 15. An important system has been set up in Noyon by the gendarmerie as part of the fight against drugs. The following are mobilized: the Clermont brigade, the surveillance and intervention squad of the Compiègne gendarmerie, the Noyon municipal police, as well as a dog team from the National Gendarmerie.
Heroin and cannabis found on two individuals
In its publication, the gendarmerie recalls that “this operation aimed to reduce delinquency linked to drug trafficking and to promote tranquility in certain neighborhoods”, without however naming the neighborhoods in question.
During this operation, two individuals were arrested and taken into custody for possession of drugs. On the first individual, the police found 800 euros in cash and a small quantity of heroin. As for the second, he had been spotted by the dog team. He had a small quantity of cannabis resin.
