A convention signed at the very place of blood drives. Wednesday November 13, in the town hall annex, theFrench Blood Establishment (EFS), the Volunteer blood donors and the city of Compiègne have formalized a partnership of several decades.
Sophie Schwarz, 1st deputy at the town hall of Compiègne, Doctor Anne-Marie Manteau, deputy director of EFS Haut de France, and Jean-Marc Piet, president of Don du Sang Compiègne et Région, represented the three parties.
Dr Manteau and President Piet recall the importance of mobilizing new donors. “Without donor blood, it would be impossible to cure sick people,” they say. Blood is an essential medicine for the treatment of certain diseases. Let’s mobilize, stocks remain fragile!”
Posters with flash code to facilitate blood donation
Jean-Marc Piet, on behalf of the volunteers and donors, thanks the municipal council. The city actually helps organize blood drives.
Dr Manteau, Sophie Schwarz and Jean-Marc Piet presented the new poster model, visible in merchants and public places. All you have to do is “flash” it to open the first page of the EFS site. With available days and times and the possibility of making an immediate appointment.
Its posters with flashcode will also appear on the buses which connect the 22 municipalities of the Agglomeration of Compiègne (ARC).
