Defense, the gymnastics club from Amblainville (Oise)going through a real storm. In the heart of a conflict with the town hall, which could cause the death of the club after 137 years of existence, the association still sees some clearings in this winter tinged with gray. Not in the administrative battle, but on the carpets. And this is ultimately what the volunteers fight for every week.
On the weekend of January 18 and 19, sixty-six gymnasts from the club were engaged at the Oise individual championships. The men’s competition took place in Montataire while the women’s competition took place in Amblainville.

The Amblainville gymnasts particularly distinguished themselves with a harvest of 31 medals. On the boys’ side, 22 medals were collected, including 11 Oise champion titles. And on the girls’ side, there are a total of 9 medals including 4 Oise champion titles. In total, Defense left with 15 titles, 10 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.
