“It makes us lose a lot of money and the thieves don’t gain much,” comments Thomas Carette, co-manager of the Cash from Compiègne. THE store for buying and selling second-hand items was the subject of a burglary on the night of Wednesday January 15 to Thursday January 16. The business is located on the Marguerite-Perey esplanade, at Intermarché Royallieu shopping center.
The five employees noticed the damage as they were about to open, like every day from Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. The door, then the metal curtain, were forced open. The burglar(s) stole multimedia products (phones, in particular).

The first time in four and a half years of opening
The co-manager does not say more about the circumstances, but is satisfied that his store only closed for one day. “The idea was to repair to reopen as quickly as possible,” he explains. We immediately set our sights on this objective. Today, everything is repaired. It could have been much worse…”
Thursday January 16, customers do not realize that there has been a break-in. They wander in the store, looking at phones, screens, guitars, watches, video games, books…
This is the first time, in four and a half years of opening, that the store has experienced such a mishap.
