Aurélien Reusse, 36, is separated from his ex-partner. On January 6, he thought he would receive his son, as indicated by the schedule they have put in place since their separation. But for no reason, the child is not entrusted to him. This disappoints him, so at 10 p.m. he begins a series of 54 calls in seven hours and sends 31 messages to his ex-partner.
During her immediate appearance at the Beauvais court, Friday January 10, the president will read a few extracts: “you are going to eat mashed potatoes… white teeth objective, you will laugh less… if I meet you with your new drunk boyfriend, It will go as far as a fight…”
She is afraid that he will become violent again
The woman, who does not have a new boyfriend, is afraid for herself and her son. She ends up calling the police, whom she has already informed of the violence she has suffered since April 2024, when the couple separated for the first time. The man then went to live with his brother, but he returned after two weeks which gave rise to further violence.
In court, Aurélien Reusse regrets his words. “I should have waitedhe said, in the future I see her far from me, I should have accepted the separation, I am obliged to accept it.» He is anxious about living alone and his best friend describes it «like a time bomb, an impulsive being who becomes another person when he has drunk“.
For the prosecutor, “he minimizes“. She is asking for a sentence of 15 months in prison, six of which will be suspended on probation.
No continued detention
According to the defense lawyer, “he does not minimize, he explains himself. He too was mistreated and he agrees to live far from her, saying that “for the little one we will find a solution, I want to live for my son””. She sees in this sentence an awareness. “He has a job, he is being treated, a probationary reprieve without continued detention will be enough. After a night in prison, he understood a lot of things.»
The court did not order the continued detention of the defendant who received twelve months in prison, including six months under probation with obligation to work, alcohol and psychological treatment. In addition to several bans: from contacting and appearing at his victim’s home, from possessing a weapon for five years and confiscation of the weapons he still holds.
