Absent since March 2022 from Paris-Beauvais airport, the airline based in Ukraine, Skyup Airlinesreturns to the Oisian tarmac. From April 18, it will offer a regular line to Chișinăuthe capital of Moldovawith two flights per week, Monday and Friday.
Initially arriving in Beauvais on September 10, 2019, the Ukrainian company created in 2017 offered connections to kyiv and Lviv, in Ukraine, for almost three years. But with Russia’s invasion of Ukraine at the end of February 2022, the company stopped these lines.
Moldova before returning to Ukraine?
“Paris-Beauvais airport has maintained strong ties with the Skyup team despite the extremely difficult situation experienced by its teams over the last three years with the dramatic war in Ukraine.indicates Anthony Martin, president of Bellova in a press release. (…) In addition to this line on Moldova, a strategic market for the airport, we very much hope that Ukraine can quickly regain peace and stability.»
Dmytro Sieroukhov, CEO of Skyup, says he is happy to welcome Moldovans traveling for leisure, Ukrainians visiting family or even French passengers on business trips.
Note that the companies Wizzair and Hisky already offer connections between Beauvais and Chișinău.
