She has moved, but remains in Clermontois. Formerly located in the commune of Agnetz, the France Drinks website is now six kilometers further east, in the activity zone from Breuil-le-Sec. The new warehouse was inaugurated in the presence of Lionel Ollivier, president of the community of communes of Pays du Clermontois, this Monday, December 2.
Why this transfer? “the old Agnetz site had few possibilities for expansion, recognizes the drinks distributor for bars and all those who sell drinks “out of home”. The new location offers a surface area of 10,780 m2. “It makes it possible to increase the number of daily tours, going from 10 to 17 in high season,” specifies the company. “There are now 970 customers served, or 250 more than since Agnetz.”
41 people on site
The new site accommodates 41 employees on site. Including nine job creations.
“Our Breuil-le-Sec site is one of the most important France Boissons “CrossDock” sites in France, excluding logistics platforms,” explains Régis Creusot, manager of the Breuil-le-Sec warehouse. “We receive the goods from our platform in Gennevilliers, and then distribute them over the routes to efficiently deliver to our customers. The particularity of our warehouse is that it is “partial cross dock”. We have a small quantity of merchandise stored on site, allowing us to be more responsive.”
Better working conditions
France Boissons also specifies that its warehouse makes it possible to improve working conditions. Particularly with the installation of a “barrel gantry to avoid manual carrying”. Or even an “automatic pallet unstacker, to eliminate manual handling.”
Concerning respect for the environment, “a biofuel tank has been put in place, allowing us to gradually reduce our consumption,” assures the company. “One liter emits 83% less CO2 compared to one liter of conventional fuel. Today, this already represents more than 50% of our national consumption.” Added to this is the arrival of an electric truck on site in 2025.
