The cold and fog of January did not discourage the athletes. There were 2700 of them at the start of the Pierrefonds Trailat the foot of castle. Sunday January 19 took place the eighth edition of the event organized by the association OK Adventure. Part of the profits went to medical research.
Two events were on the program. The first was 27km and the second 13km, traced in the Compiègne forest by around twenty volunteers. With 1350 runners lined up in each event. In red vests, around a hundred volunteers guided the runners.
“The atmosphere is always warm and friendly,” confides Stephen, a participant from Plessis-Belleville. There were also runners from departments in the Parisian suburbs.
