They do not come from the moors of Scotland swept by the northern sea wind. But from Berneuil-sur-Aisne, in the Oise, where they were born. More specifically on the premises of the LW and CO company.
This adapted company, open since 2010, welcomes 8 workers with disabilities. “Previously, the employees of the company mowed the ground,” says the management of Babynov. And then we were offered eco -proof. ”
April and Omega, the two new recruits, are therefore in charge of grazing. While LW and employees are nourishing them.
Societal issues
Social responsibility for companies (CSR) encourages them to “voluntary integration, by businesses, from social and environmental concerns to their commercial activities”. After having evaluated its carbon footprint in 2023, the Babynov company structured, in 2024, working groups on the following issues: environment, product, human capital and sustainable purchase.
The arrival of Omega and April, and the care provided by disabled workers, respond to these issues.
Founded at Meux (near Compiègne), the Babynov company arrived in 2010 in Montigny-Lengrain. “In order to bring together the entire production chain,” says the company’s management, which recruits line drivers.
The site located in the former rehabilitated McCain premises, has 145 employees. There are two other sites: in Courmelles near Soissons, and to chiches in England.
